If you’re a Tech Launch IT Workforce program student or alum (cohorts 2023-2029) and remain in good standing, you can earn stipends and bonuses to support your training, job search and early career milestones.

Stipend and bonus programs
Stipend program for Spring ’26-Spring ’29 Cohorts
Pre-graduation stipends:
$200/month during the 18-week Tech Launch training period.
Post-graduation stipends:
$150/month for the 6 months following graduation.
Career and survey milestone bonus program for Spring ’23-Spring ’29 Cohorts
Bonuses are available for milestones starting in 2026, ranging from $50-$100.
Earn bonuses just for updating Tech Foundry staff about CompTIA certifications, job starts and retention, survey responses and promotions!
Stipend program window
Program runs 2026–2029.
All bonus requests and documentation must be submitted by December 1, 2029 .

What is a Student in ”Good Standing”?
To maintain “good standing” status, a student must:
Actively participate in all aspects of the program, including job-hunting activities.
Complete all assignments in a timely manner.
Complete all Coursera work.
Follow program expectationsas outlined in the student handbook, with no active warnings.
Respond timely to Teams, email and text messages.
What is an Alum in ”Good Standing”?
To maintain “good standing” status, an alum must:
Attend at least 2 Job Trackers job hunting sessions a week. (Unless you’re in internship or already working.)
Attend at least 2 job tracker meetings per month, unless employed or completing your internship.
Apply to 10+ jobs weekly.
Update job application tracker (JAT) daily until employed.
Respond to surveys within 7 days.
Respond to all emails, texts and Teams messages within 72 hours.
Communicate all career milestones within 1 month of achievement, including sending necessary supporting documentation to Tech Foundry.
Stipends
Pre-graduation stipends are available to students starting with the Spring 2026 Cohort.
Post-graduation bonuses are available to those alumni in good standing who graduated starting with the Fall 2025 Cohort.
Bonuses
Bonuses will be paid via direct deposit within 1 month of request and/or survey completion. If you need assistance with a bank account, please email us at bonus@thetechfoundry.org.
